May 27, 2009: Wiking presents another two new articles from Tedor and Christian. Tedor has created a MP-40 Parts Guide in German with English translations and Christian has made the same guide for the K-98 Rifle! Check out the article page HERE! Pionier Christof has edited his last video, the updated version is now up HERE.
Other News: Roster Updated - Fixed name errors for August and Axel. Added roster photos of our newest Bewerbers Axel and Winfried. (Note to Wiking Members, if you would like a photo posted, or an updated photo, email Christian for details)
May 19, 2009: Photos are now up from the recent Lowell, IN & Ft. Harrison Indianapolis, IN events - check them out HERE. We have another new video from Pionier Christof which is now available HERE. Thank again to Christof! At Lowell, Bewerber Markus unofficialy has attained the rank of Pionier and shall be awarded his cuff title at the St. Joseph/Benton Harbor Event! Congrats!
Wiking also welcomed two new Bewerbers at Lowell, Axel & Winfried who both attended the Fort Harrison event three short weeks later with nearly completed kits! Welcome to Wiking Axel & Winfried!
Wiking now has a large group interested in attending the 60th Anniversary event at the Patton Museum at Fort Knox, KY (May 19-31st). This will be the first time Wiking has attended an event in Kentucky in force, we hope to see you there!
Website Updates: New Video, New Photo Additions to 'Battles Past', Reenactment Calendar Updated, and Unit Roster Updated. A new article is coming very soon as well from Pionier Johann, so be sure to check back!

March 25, 2009: Wiking had a great time at Fort Custer last weekend, thanks to all who came out! Check out the recap with photos here: HERE. We had some promotions as well! Congrats to Tedor, new squad leader for Zweite. Fritz and Rheinhardt made Sturmann. Finally we come to Lanz and Frederich who were both awarded their Wiking Cufftitles and given the rank of Pionier!

March 13, 2009: We had a small problem with our Application form and Uniform/Equipment list; we had an old version up! Check the Getting Started page: HERE. More details there. It is now up to date with the new material and I fixed the side bar issue so it will actually open in the big frame. Sorry for the probem!
March 13, 2009: Reenacting Calendar has been updated and now included the pre-registration website to the St. Joseph reenactment and a date change for the Thunder Over Michigan Airshow/Reenactment. Check the calendar out: HERE.
*Also note, the Pre-Registration forms for 'Delay the Inevitable' must be RECEIVED by Tuesday March 17th (St. Patrick's Day). Please check our event page: HERE - and get your registration forms in ASAP! Registration at the gate will be accepted but please check the event page for details on this!
February 22, 2009: Lot's of work and new additions to Wiking.org this weekend! First of all we have updated some information on the 'Delay the Inevitable' event including a new promo .pdf, please check our event page: HERE.
We have also added another new page intitled WWII Articles, that will be featuring period WWII articles about the Deutsche Soldaten and original works from Wiking members! We have pasted our first article courtesy of Wiking member M.Jaeger. Check it out HERE.
Also in the works: an updated Wiking history page, information about what WW2 Reenacting is all about, Reenacting Web Links, Book/Music/Movie recomendations and more! Check back soon!

February 18, 2009: We have added a new page on the side bar dedicated to our event 'Delay the Inevitable' at Fort Custer: March 20-22nd! Please check it out, get your registration forms in, and very importantly read the *Special Notice*. This will explain in detail the new Fort Custer Security rules involving bring blanks onto the base! Check that page our HERE. ~ Also on an unrelated note, there are still a few broken image links around the website that we are working on.
February 18, 2009: New Pictures! Check the Battles Past section HERE. Rockford 2008, Stille Nacht 2008, and Ostfront Tactical 2009 all included! Also fixed a link error to the Labels page, seems that was hooked to an old version as well. The new version has English translations. Enjoy!
February 17, 2009: Unit Roster re-updated! There was an error when it was posted on the 15th and it had revered back to the old version. Sorry! The new version is now up for sure. Roster
February 15, 2009: We are still working out the kinks caused after the server transfer but are getting back into shape! Most of the images are working again but still having issues here and there. Just another quick reminder, 'Delay the Inevitable' at Fort Custer is coming up soon so please get your pre-registration forms in as soon as possible! Only pre-registered participants will be allowed in the military base. Click HERE for those forms. Don't forget to check the Wiking Calendar of Events for upcoming reenactment information! February 12, 2009: Hurrah! After a much longer than expected delay, Wiking.org is back up and running! We ran into some technical problems during the tranfer to our new server. We still have some glitches and are noticing some glitches, but otherwise everything is okay! Which reminds me, please get in your Fort Custer registration forms ASAP please! You must be pre-registered to attend this event as it is held on a real military base. The webmaster will be working with the website vigourously over the next couple of weeks working out the kinks and adding new content! Please keep checking back often!
January 5, 2009: The Promo Flyers and Registration forms for 'Delay the Inevitable' (Scheduled for March 20-22 2009 at Fort Custer) have been uploaded to the site and are now available for download! Click HERE for those forms. Speaking of events, the Wiking Calendar of Events has been largly updated with website/contact information where available! Check out the CALENDAR. Also added is a new rank/equivalency page available HERE. We are still awaiting our server change, please bare with us and check back often!
