The first D-Day reenactment held at the location of the LST-325 Musuem in Evansville, Indiana; which featured real landing craft and airplanes. This event was helped put on by Wiking's own Ludwig Brus who shared great hospitality and some mighty fine food! A big thanks goes out to Ludwig and all those who helped put this event together. One more thanks goes to Capt. Andy Hillstrand of the Time Bandit (featured on the Discovery Channel's show "Deadliest Catch"), who participated as a reenactor. Although this is a first year event, we all hope it grows and is even bigger and better in 2008!
